The Hammer is a new comedy starring and written by Adam Carolla (The Man Show’s) about a man who’s boring life as a construction worker is getting more and more boring until he knocks out a prize fighter in the ring.

This KO begins his quest for Olympic golf despite the fact he’s getting on a bit and is no longer a professional boxer. Adam Carolla brings something unique to the movie although after viewing the trailer I’m not sure whether it would be a film that I would particularly enjoy.

The Hammer is directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld (Legally Blonde 2) from a script written by Kevin Jench and a story by Adam Carolla. The film premiered last year at the Tribeca Film Festival but it didn’t generate much of a buzz.

The Hammer hits theaters on March 21st.
