It looks to be a highly praised film that at the same time touches upon important matters that are currently affecting the whole world. It seems to be incredibly moving yet a unique look into a situation that a lot of people know very little about.

  2. its a sort of documentary/film that shows us how the war in iraq affected different group of people. the director has put a great deal of research into it and i think that something like this is vital in telling the people who support the war how it is destroying people’s lives. It also gives people who don’t know a great deal about it an insight into what is happening and why it should be stopped. i’m not saying that this is going to be a hollywood blockbuster that will appeal to everyone; but for people who want to watch something with meaning and substance that is about real issues.
    i hope that helps you

  3. i 100% totally agree with you; this film is new, fresh, orginal and something that the british and american public need. i will not appeal to everyone; that’s for sure. But if you think it will be boring then you are being very heartless. - i bet you don’t even know the slightest thing about the war in iraq, let alone films!!!

  4. since you guys seem to be the experts, perhaps you cud fill me in…

    WHAT IS THE STORY?

let me guess, this is how the film will go:

    iraq gets bombed.
    its very sad.
shows some nice jucicy pics of a few limbless kids and weeping windows.
shows some footage of the coalition kicking ass with their big bombs and tanks.
Shows some more crying people - pereferably having just lost their homes.
narrator calls it an atrocity, a war crime etc etc

    BIG TIPS FOR THE FILM:
DONT SHOW the IRAQI insurgents blowing up women and children on buses and street corners
DONT MENTION the fact that saddam killed 1,000,000 of his own people whilst in power
DONT MENTION that iraq now has a democratic government as opposed to the dictatorship that they had before.

and by the way dave, people know what is happening. we see it everyday on the news, people here simply dont care.

    Whats my proof of this?

Both BLAIR and BUSH were relected at the last elections, YEARS AFTER THE INVASION BEGUN!
