The movie is about a man called Chris Gardner (Will Smith) who is struggling to make ends meet and keep his son on a low salesman wage.

They both get evicted from their apartment and they have nowhere to go.

However Gardner gets an internship at a stockbroker sand things start to look up as they pursue a better life.
