Real Wars & Real People: Home of the Brave

October 8th, 2006  In Sections: Action, Adventure, Military, War

This year there is set to be a new film to be released based on real life issues that affect the whole world called Home of the Brave. It stars Curtis Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson and Christina Ricci to name a few.

Real Wars & Real People: Home of the Brave

And is about the lives of a group of soldiers who fight for their country together in Iraq where friends and lives are lost. The film then shows us what we don’t see in the news; how they cope when they’re back at home. It goes into how these heroes have to adapt and move on in life after the valiant and terrifying ordeals that they had to experience during the war.

It should be a real tear jerker that nearly everyone can relate to in some shape or form. This film, based on world wide issues, should be a moving and heroic display that will give people an insight in what really goes on. I just hope that with stars like Curtis Jackson, a.k.a 50 Cent, combined with Hollywood don’t make this film too cheesy and predictable.

Movie-Trailers Rating: 9 / 10 - This should be a great film that people can relate to, as long as it is realistic.

Please leave your thoughts on how you think this film will pan out at the bottom of the page.

  1. When I first saw this film advertised I thought it would be a great action film with fiddy and jackson kicking some ass.

However now Ive seen the trailer, it seems more of a serious and emtional film about the reality of war - war is a harsh experience not a flashy hollywood experience

  2. I know what you mean. I think this film will really touch upon the things that people don’t see on the news. But I just hope it is not too Hollywood or American.
