Oh. My. God, I am in a serious state of shock. Patrick Swayze, star of iconic films such as Dirty Dancing and Ghost, has revealed he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late January. The National Enquirer has reported that the cancer has spread to other organs and Swayze has just five weeks left to live.

Patrick, just 55 years old, has been travelling to Stanford University’s prestigious cancer center in Palo Alto for radical chemotherapy for the past month. It is said that his doctors are no longer optimistic that treatments will be successful.

FOXNews.com has tried to contact Swayze’s reps but their calls weren’t returned. However, a ‘very good source’ has told Perez Hilton that Swayze has seemed fine lately,

“Patrick has been at rehearsals for a new cheerleading movie at Century City studio frequently lately, and he definitely does not look like he has 5 more weeks of life left…i’m not sure of his medical condition(s), but if he is gravely ill, he is hiding it very well,”

The National Enquirer have printed that Swayze and his wife, Lisa Niemi, have been flying their private plane to Palo Alto’s airport to attend the Cancer Center, where the actor is reportedly receiving outpatient treatment.

Patrick received three doses of chemotherapy, which cause the tumor to shrink, but the tumor didn’t shrink as much as his doctors first thought and Patrick was told he should prepare for the worst.
