Nacho Libre is a new film that is soon to be released in the UK on DVD starring Jack Black. His character is called Ignacio; his friends call him Nacho, and he is a Mexican priest who moonlights as a wrestler to raise money for his orphanage.

I know that Jack Black’s previous films have been hilarious; like School of Rock, but this one seems to be quite lame with jokes that fail to stretch the imagination. Take the trailer for example, there is nothing in there at all that anyone would find hilarious.

It even has the same director as School of Rock; so I don’t know what’s happened there! It just doesn’t seem to have that edge or wit about it that the infamous Jack Black usually has. It’s probably something that you could watch with children but if you want a funny comedy or remotely interesting film I would advise you to look else where.

Movie-Trailers Rating: 2.5 / 10 - Lame, tame and basically just the same.
