Everything Judd Apatow touches turns to comedy gold at the moment, so it’s no surprise that he’s taking on a whole load of projects. As a fan of Apatow, I have no problem with him producing plenty of comedies - everyone needs a side-splitting belly laugh now and then and Judd delivers plenty!

Apatow has signed on to produce Five-Year Engagement with Nick Stoller and Jason Segel returning to their directing and writing duties. The film follows the ups and downs of a couple during their.. you guessed it!

Nick Stoller has said,

“It’s definitely an extension of our desire to explore the depth of human miser. If Sarah Marshall and Jason’s character had stayed together, this might be the sequel.”

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a great film and if Five-Year Engagement is anything like that it’s yet another success under Apatow’s belt.
