I have to be honest the last Bond film was appalling, don’t you agree? Everything from the storyline to the gadgets was poor and there was none of that “James Bond style” that there once was. It was too corny and far fetched, and I don’t really think Pierce Brosnan was up to the job.

Sean and Roger, in my eyes, were in a class of their own – they really made the part. And I truly believe that this here Daniel Craig, can do the job perfectly. He may be fair haired but that’s different and that’s what makes James Bond so great.

He still oozes with class yet has a menacing sense about him and the physique to match. He’s everything 007 should be; a real good-looking butch hard nut that all women fantasise over and everyman wants to be. From the trailer of the film, the story line looks as realistic as it can be so there’s a start and from the action shots old Danny boy does really look the dog’s dangly bits.

The plot looks unique and intoxicating and there’s a nice young lady in there to spice things up a little. Hopefully the gadgets will be good and I’m just glad to see that they’ve reinstated the old Aston Martin DB4. But most importantly, Daniel Craig looks good in a tux now that is important, every Bond must be able to pull off the tux, and I think he does.

The film looks to be one of those nail biting, on the edge of your seat films that has all the desired twists, turns and brutal slayings, but is still suitable for the rest of the family.

From what I gather there will be quite a bit of rebel ness and saucy moments to keep any eyes glued to the screen. There is only thing that the film lacks, and that’s Q. I know he is no longer with us but I hope this new guy that they have now still has a few tricks up his sleeve, and not some stupid car that can magically disappear as if it had just been introduced from a Harry Potter movie. We want explosive toothpaste and make-your-own helicopters and things that are crazy but at the same time possible!

So, in conclusion, I think this new film, Casino Royale, is the one to bring back Bond and restore people’s faith that James Bond movies are something for British people to be proud of, unlike that John Prescott. So, Daniel, I think you can do and I hope you make Britain proud!
