Gerard Butler has truly achieved stardom not only is his acting career super successful, he’s also launched his own production company, Evil Twins, with his longtime manager Alan Siegel.

Butler has revealed that Law Abiding Citizen will be the first film to come out of the company. The film, written by Equilibrium’s Kurt Wimmer, follows the story of an assistant DA (Butler) who ‘finds himself at the centre of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatised victim of the legal system’. Thrilling stuff!

Shooting is set to begin in the summer, but there’s no word on who will direct or who the rest of the cast will include.

It is reported that Evil Twins have also lined up two further films, one called Hanging Tale and the other an adaptation of Frank McCourt’s Teacher Man.

If you can’t wait for your next Butler fix, you can catch him in Nim’s Island, Guy Ritchie’s next film RocknRolla or in Game. He’s also about to start shooting The Ugly Truth, a rom-com starring Katherine Heigl.
