I think Nicolas Cage is absolutely brilliant or absolutely atrocious, but in one of his recent film; Lord of War, he was definitely at his best. In the same way Al Pacino is great at being a gangster, Nicolas Cage is great at being a fast talking criminal mastermind.

This film takes you into a story, based on real life events, about a man and his brother who take on the weapon industry and sell illegal all around the globe. You see it all; the fast cash, the fast life and the fast women, it really is a great film. Have a glimpse at the trailer:

Looks impressive don’t you think. The main character is just one of those guys you hate to love and you really get drawn into part. But like nearly all films about gangsters, gangs and criminals he has a tragic ending; sort of. Nevertheless those are the sort of things that make a film great. It goes into detail about real life arm dealers and how their “jobs” affect the whole world. I would highly recommend you watch it as it truly is a good, yet underrated, film.
