This hilarious film that is due to be released later on this year is a documentary that follows a group of foul-mouthed penguins that are looking for love in all the wrong places. We travel with them in a journey that takes us to new, unique levels of comedy.
It is written and directed by Bob Saget and features the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Gilbert Gottfried and many, many more. In this sequel to the original Garfield follows his owner, Jon, to England, where Garfield is mistaken for a look-alike, royal cat who has inherited his own castle. Garfield laps up the royal treatment but his reign is in danger. The evil Lord Dargis is resolute to do whatever it takes to get rid of Garfield so that he can turn the castle into a resort.
I never really thought that the first Garfield was that funny and it never really seemed to have any real conviction. But I think that this one will be a huge improvement. Surf’s Up is a new film to be launched in 2007 about penguins surfing – did you know they invented it?
No, me neither. But here is a film/documentary to prove it. I don’t think there is any real plot to this film; it’s just another fun family animation. Just like Madagascar I think it will be really amusing and enjoyment for people of all ages, and who can’t love cute penguins on giant surf boards? (read more…)
