Anne Heche is set to replace Jennifer Jason Leigh in the indie rom-com Spread. The film will see her tar opposite Ashton Kutcher, who’s company Katalyst is producing.

The film follows the story of a womanizer (Kutcher) and the lover he scorns (Heche). Spread is set to mix up the conventional rom-com.

It isn’t known why Leigh dropped out of the film, but the production will begin shooting with Heche immediately.
